olives @ capsquare

olives - another new place to hangout for breakfast which we just discovered recently...well, for me all the cafes and eateries looks kinda the same @ capsquare, all with the posh looking..just get to know from hubby that most of this caters especially to those high-end residences next block..ohh, really?

But you can still actually find lots of locals hanging out around here before the office hour start. From the name olive, you must be thiking it's some sort of english cafe serving american stlye breakfast. Haha, you are very wrong then...The food there serve here consist of a quite wide range, mostly Malaysia local fare for example nasi lemak, kuih-muih, sandwhiches...and also some of the things you wouldn't expect for example "Gui Ling Guo"??

A creactive by using chalk to draw the ever colourful picture ... and also another quick way to show you what they have

Tasty and colorful Malaysia local kueh-mueh on display...which is your favourite?

For something cold in the morning, Iced Nescafe and Iced Nescafe O @ RM1.80 each...Don't be fooled by the looks, it doesn't really looks nice but it taste awesome!!

For something hot, Hot Milo @ RM1.60

Nasi Lemak @ RM1.50 each, served together with a dallop of sambal, anchovies, peanut, half boiled egg and together with the coconut fragrant rice...

Kueh-mueh @ RM0.60 each...yummy!! Adrena keep commenting on how nice is the kueh...Ohh, and this is what makes me go back the next day to take a way some of it...Very very true. Could not stop wondering what makes all the kueh here so delicious??

Wholemeal turkey ham sandwhich @ RM3.80 which in my own opinion, taste a lot better than o'briens sandwhiches...Haha!

Shanghai's snacks

Get this from one of my Shanghainese coll..Well, I have never been to Shanghai myself but I wish that I can one day..As it's one of the costlier city to live in the world..

If I really wanted to go, I might to plan carefully, haha...One of them are going back end of this year whereby she has asking whether I'm interested to go along...Well, with accomodation provided, I'm still thinking...As she told me, she has checked for the air fare which is quite expensive (no Air Asia yet ma..haha!)

I'm actually quite tempted with the food that she keep commenting to me everyday in office..bout how tasty it is...ohh...

Okie, before I really had the chance to fly myself there, I think I shall started with this local snacks which is some sort of dried meat which is vacum packed. I was actually wondering what meat it is since I do not know Chinese myself.. till my coll told me one is beef jerky while another is bbq pork meat...ok..safe to be consume

This is the beef jerky...Hmm, contains lotsa spices, I think it's to covered those beeffy smell...I brave myself for one bite, Gulp...Second bite, give up! Even though I eat beef, but I really can't stand the taste and it end up into my dustbin...haha!

Well, for the bbq pork meat...This taste a lot better. As I have actually finish it up, Wahaha...It's actually some sort what we have here...but it's taste lighter, thinner, less oilier... I like this...

But somehow I don't know why I still have the misconception of the food from China..too much issue especially after the melamine case...extra careful with food product from China...But I was too tempted to try out..Well, If I'm hospitalised the next day, then you know what happened la...Hahaha

Jo Sport Day

It's now again the once a year event for Jo which is his Kindergarden Sport's Day. Venue is still the same as last year but this year come a bit earlier thought...Something special bout this year because it's 30th annivesary for this kindergarden...No wonder I saw all the invitation card and also the T-shirt were kinda specially designed...even mommy and daddy get the sport t-shirt this year...

As usual, the invitation card which cum along with the lucky draw...0496

The trademark dinasour since 1979...

Did you see that? This is so cute...printed at the back of the t-shirt for mommy and daddy...so flattered seeing this statement...

While this is printed at the back of the Jo's t-shirt...even more flattered too see this...

Jo all set ready for the sport day...I hope too, still remembered his first year which is last year..he's just walking instead of running...whole team get last because of this...

Joey all set ready to cheer up for her bro...Add oil, koko...
In the end, still get last again!!! We know it, We know he has tried his best, We know he has run very fast...We know, Jo! But you know, there is always some newbies which don't want to run, just like what you did last year...

FYI...last also get this, and not to make it looks so embarrasing, it's written as consolation prize and it's gold in colour...Well, just to make the kids happy anyway...You know how sad it is when you get nothing at all??

Hope you will get Number One next year!! as next year is also the last year for Jo before moving on to Standard one...while next year will also be Joey first year to kiddy...Ohh, Time fliess...time really fliess...

Kushi Q

Was MSNing with Jessey yesterday'nite...And we can really chat non-stop. Hmm, this really make me think that it's been really a long time that me and Jessey had not sit down together and talk like what we preiovusly did in HP...

Of out sudden, she ajak me for lunch which I totally agree but when think further down, that we'll have more time to chat if we met for dinner instead has automatically change the plan to dinner...Hahaha, I don't care, I will tell my boss that I'm leaving the office at 5 sharp today...

It's such a headache to think bout where to go for dinner. It's not that we ran out of idea but it's that there's really too much place we wanna go and try...

At last both of us agreed to explore for food @ Tropicana City Mall since both of us have never been there before..

And the choosen one is Kushi Q...which for me, I felt it's more like a mini Japanese stall selling grilled meat and seafood...

Green tea as usual, which is refillable...

After much long thinking, both of us has choose to settled down on Set D respectively... I keep wondering is it we have come here on the wrong timing? This don't have, that don't have...No crispy fish, No Lady Finger...lazy to ask so much dy...Just give me what you have, ok?

All these set will be accompanied by either a bowl of rice or salad...Since it's dinner time, both of us have choose for the rice...

This is mine with Chicken Breast with Mentaki sauce, Scallop (Teriyaki flavor), Baby Octopus with Sesame and Beef with pineapple...

Jessey has choose for the non-beef one which has Chicken Thigh with Leek, Chicken Thigh with Capsicum, Scallop (Teriyaki flavor) and Baby Octopus...

Overall, both of us agreed that the grills were not bad and very flavorful. I guess it's the sauce thing and also all bout the marination which was done well...

Haha, frankly speaking we are feeling not really enough and has decided to add on some more food to try...

Grilled black mushroom which were quite salty...which I think will get better if eatean together with the rice...

Grilled chicken wing...

Grilled Mackerel Fish...

If you would like to have some dessert after finishing your meal, you can try for their Ice Cream which is from Japan...which we didn't...

But I find myself kinda naughty cause I don't want it but still want to continue to take picture of the Ice Cream...

If they have this, I'll surely go for it...Too bad, as you expected, this is sold out...

Total bill for all this is RM33.30(nice number leh..) w/o Goverment Tax and Service Charge...

The name card for your reference
