Bunga Serai Cafe

Yea yea, It's Friday...It's been such a long time I didn't have my happy Friday. What I mean by "Mandy HappyFriday" is a Friday without much request, can lunch @ somewhere nice, can go home @ 5 and most importantly no need to come back to work tommorow..isn't that a Happy Friday?

So where to go for lunch? You asking me, and me asking you...that's always happen until someone suggest Capsquare. OK, let's go...

I actually just realized that I've never blog bout Malay food before. Haha, this shall be the first one and also the one that really get my thumbs up for which is "Bunga Serai Cafe". I don't know why everytime we passes here, it's just never struck our mind to try it till today...

Before tasting the food, we were already not giving it a high hope. It's just that since we don't know what to have and the reasonable price only we come here...For about RM12 you can have one drink, one main and dessert...still ok le..

Drinks to choose, you can have Iced Lemon Tea, Iced Coffee/ Tea or Sirap Bandung with cincau...which is already included in the set

Nasi Lemak with Beef rendang...absolutely a must try for Beef lover. The rice were served warm, come together with the usual typical nasi lemak stuff, anchovies, nuts, half boiled egg, slices of cucumber and sambal...I really didn't expect the food to be so tasty, the meat were tender not to say and the gravy was like so good...yum yum.

Nasi Lemak with Chicken rendang...the person that try this also says it's nice...

Chicken Rice...erm, I actually expect it to be really the chicken rice which is something like those roasted chicken or steamed chicken with cucumber slices, you know...this is come out to be fried one...they should put it as Fried Chicken Rice le...

Tom Yam noodles which looks kinda messy but actually tastes nice...can you see there's a lot of vege inside? tomato, mushroom, cauliflower, baby corn, zig zag carrot...

To end our meal, we can choose to have either Cendol or Sago with coconut milk...Cendol were not bad but you can let go the Sago, the only thing they have actually fails...

Overall, all of give positive comment to this place. But there's still some room for improvement...Example, they are a bit disorganised, I get my food first...and the rest get it after 15 minutes and after everyone done, there's still one more poor gal still waiting for her food...

Business during lunch hour were unsually good and this was the only one place there which were overly packed with lunchers... till some of the have to sit at the corridor...feels like eating at the roadside
