Pixar UP

The one week school holiday is almost over but this time we aren't going anywhere, not even going back to hometown as I was kinda packed with work...Furthermore with the H1N1, I don't think anyone got the mood to go for travel... Thus, I have promised Jo that I'll bring him for a movie which recently got into cinema - UP

I was actually kinda touch with this movie actually...Pixar previously cartoon were usually packed with humour and of course some touching part. But for this, It has something more, I think it's more about people to people relationship, how you sometimes deal with people in your everyday life which is kinda true...

Starting part was the most touching, it tells how this 2 couple met while they are still both kids - Carl and Ellie

How they grown up - and making each other their life partner. Abit bout Ellie, she's an adventurous type, from kid she had dreamt to explore to the wild - South America one day

But due to financial constraint, they could not make it...It was all until both of them has grown old and Ellie has passed away, leaving Carl all alone...lonely old man

But as he has promised Ellie, he though that he wanna make her wish come true. Carl who is a balloon salesman ties thousands of balloons to his house and make his way to South America.

The later part was about his adventure with a 8-year-old Wilderness Explorer named Russell, trying to earn his final merit badge for “Assisting the Elderly”. It was an accident whereby while Carl house were flying up, Russel was on his house' porch...Carl only realised bout it when they are already up to the sky...

And end up with another two more companian, a golden retriever which can talk and also a tropical bird named Kevin who is a she, haha...it was named by Russel who does not know about the gender of the bird first...

Overall, its a enjoyable movie which you must go to watch. It's also availabe in 3D, which I don't think I will go for the moment, maybe 1 one 2 years more, when I think it's the time the kids know how to watch with 3D...
