Rui Patisserie

Lately have been reading blogs about this very kawaii bakery "Rui Patisserie". Those write up and pictures of it really make me wanted to go...I'm not familiar with Mt Kiara...nor do hubby, but I trusted his strong sense of direction, we make our way there succesfully...thanks so much, I know he's very tired but still willing to bring me there

Heard that some of the cakes might not be available sometimes, this really make me worried while we are on our way there...lucky us, we didn't up dissapointed...

The princess cake was still there, straight away I tell them I want it...Those cakes looks so cute, don't you agreed?I wanted to buy the white chocolate cheese cake as well, but they insist me to try first, haha...which they really cut some for us to try...superb

The velvets, one of their best seller cupcake which I wanted to try as well but didn't as it's left 3 only...perhaps will buy it next time

From this year onwards, you'll just need 2 candles on your birthday cake...yet they will still know how old are you, hehe

cookies...

How would I stop myself from buying it, Nope, I didn't buy one box...

But 2 boxes, since I didn't buy the velvets, I end up buying the cheesecake instead... Each layer between the princess cake is filled with blueberry...soft, light and not too sweet. For those who likes cheesecake, must try their white chocolate cheesecake, absolutely delicious...while the 2 chocolate muffin, it's free for Jojo and Joey...

While we are there, the lady have give us alot of their biscuits and cakes to try which taste very nice as well...Am now wondering when I'm going back again for their other cakes and also the velvets...

And the reason why I really their cakes, it's light and not overly on the sweet side..I'm not really into sweet thing, thus I think its suits me...but this is definetely not suitable for those with sweet toothed...

Fong Lye, Jalan Imbi

Mom and sis give a surprise visit last Sunday when they come to pick up sis' bf from Langkawi. And as usual, mom says she wanna treat me for dinner since I'm not home during my birthday lask month...Erm, where I want to go?At first wanna go to Foong Lye @ The Garden but since it's already 8plus, we straight head to Foong Lye @ Imbi...

For the small one, and also for the big one

First time trying Foong Lye which is a Taiwan Restaurant...This place were packed during dinner time, so next time you can make reservation in advance to avoid waiting...yea, were have waited for nearly half hour. But the food were served to us quite fast after we have placed for the order...

Chinese tea RM15 which is RM3 X 5 pax...It's even more expensive than the rice which RM2.50 per bowl

Okie, after search high and low at the menu, only I found that this outlet does not serve set like the one at Garden...Blek, so we just ordered a few dishes to go with rice...

Two style prawn:- Fried Prawn with Salad Cream & Salt and Pepper Prawn RM45

Stir Fried Beef with Japanese cucumber RM25

Stir Fried Eggplant RM16

Claypot Beancurd RM21

Three Variety of Supreme diced Chicken, cooked together with 3 type of sauce RM36. Must try as this is one of their specialties...

Total damages RM191.40, and of course I rather pay the bill myself. Well, that's the price to pay eating at a high class chinese restaurant...no comment for the food, as the food is absolutely delicious and portion of some were more than enough for us...

dinner @ Old Town

Sometimes, the food is not as important as the companion that goes with dinner...Am I rite? Even a simple dinner at Old Town can be very meaningful, of course together with a bunch of buddy...More and more ppl are franchising this coffee chain, you can even find it in Central Market?

A cup of hot black tea for the youngest of all...

While the others which is not that young anymore can't resist the tempation of cold drink, even adding a scoop of ice cream to the drink...

Curry mee & tomyum meehoon...

Since it's dinner time, I choose to have Fried Chicken Chop w Rice, while Michelle goes for Nasi Lemak w Rendang chicken...

And for dessert, we choose to have toasted bread...

And french toast... Ehemm? What? This is not called dessert?

a Breakfast @ Jln TengkatTong Shin

Craving for a bowl beef noodle in the morning have lead us to Ngau Kee...I believe this beef noodle stall which has been operating for many years are no more stranger to the KL folks...yet shame to say, this is my first time tasting it...

Did you ever notice that the most delicious food is always those which is operating along the roadside...it just unexplainable

Price list:- S, M or L, just 50cent in comparison for each size...

We'll always never have enough of this springy beef ball and beef meat...just love the flavorful soup

On the other side, they are very generous on the minced meat which is served on top of the wantan mee...

Not in beef...there's still some other stalls which is operating as the same row as Ngau Kee...

Very delicious looking fried stuffed brinjal and chilies which luring me to eat them...they fried it on the spot, so you can still have the experience of eating a warm yong tau foo in the morning...

A simple plate of noodles sometimes can be very tasty as well...chili sauce + sweet sauce

Or how bout a bowl of porridge to clear your digest system...a plain looking bowl of porridge, actually there's more hidden beneath it...chinese cruellers, chicken slice, salted egg, century egg, peanut, dried oyster...

Nasi lemak, anyone?

One of the ever smooth soya bean...

or super silky tau foo fa?
